Kimberly Fisel

Kim is an experienced Psychotherapist and Marriage and Family Therapist with 17 years of experience using her skills in different disciplines. Having been trained in the Unites States as a Counselling-Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist, she is skilled in working with a broad scope of clientele, ranging from young children and adolescents to families, couples and individuals. She has also worked with professional organizations to provide coaching and leadership development to employees and entrepreneurs.
Having been a trailing spouse, Kim understands the pressures and challenges that can arise due to the change in relationship dynamics that occur when moving into a new culture, both in our personal and professional lives. Kim was living in Singapore during the pandemic and worked in the mental health field at the height of COVID 19 restrictions and challenges; because of this, she is aware of the residual and long-lasting impacts of a global crisis on professional and personal relationships.
Kim has experience in treating a wide range of mental and behavioral health difficulties in Adults, adolescents and families such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, developmental delays, behavioral issues, infidelity, academic difficulties, socialization and spectrum disorders. She is skilled at working with families who are in transition: experiencing separation, grief and loss, trauma and adoption.
Her therapeutic approach is a strength-based, systemic approach utilizing different modalities geared toward the unique needs of the clients she serves. She believes connection and resiliency are paramount to living a fulfilling life and making lasting changes.
Trained as a clinical supervisor by American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, she works to support and guide interns and other professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge of therapy. Her intention is to ensure that supervisees are practicing in a manner that is ethical and supportive of clients.
